High Power SMD Wirewound Resistors (5 and 7 Watt) | Ohmite

The RW series incorporates "fins" in the resistor body similar to a heatsink to achieve the higher power rating. As more and more customers push to go to surface mount resistors, design engineers now have a 5W and 7W option that traditionally was only achieved in an axial leaded wirewound resistor. Resistance range for the 5 watt part is 0.1 ohms to 50K ohms and 0.1 ohms to 100K ohms for the 7W part. ( more info )

High Energy Thick Film on Alumina Substrate (TP810 Series) | Ohmite

Ohmite TP810 Series high energy resistors offer high power density and feature the impulse energy capability that is usually linked with wirewound or compositon resistors. These resistors take up very little board space and offer 8 resistance values ranging from 10-10K ohms at 5% tolerance. ( more info )
