FORT WORTH, TEXAS – April 20, 2009 – TTI, Inc. a global distributor of passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components, announced the expansion of the company’s transportation connector product line with the launch of the Tyco Electronics Sealed Fuse/Relay Box.
The Tyco Sealed Fuse/Relay Box is designed to allow users to place their power distribution requirements outside the cab or passenger compartment. Each wire utilizes a single wire seal on the underside of the box while a peripheral silicone seal, located around the box interface, provides sealing against the cover. The box contains 60 cavities and accepts most 280 footprint mini-fuses and mini and micro relays. The 280 footprint allows the end user to customize that device layout to meet the vehicle power requirements.
TTI, engaged with the Tyco Electronics’ Automotive Division in August 2008, to promote Tyco’s automotive products through the North American distribution channel. TTI was selected based on its commitment to customer service excellence and their leading position as connector specialists in the electronic component industry. This product will be marketed throughout the TTI sales offices in North America with the assistance and resources of TTI’s Transportation Business Unit (TBU) specialists.
