FORT WORTH, TX ─ September 13, 2005 ─ TTI, Inc., the world’s leading passive and connector specialist in the electronics industry, has announced the hiring of Ron Russell as the new Senior Vice President of Global Human Relations.
Russell has more than 30 years of experience in various top management positions working for some of North America’s largest corporations, including Vice President, Senior Human Resources Officer for Citicorp Global Technology, Inc. and Director of Human Resources for Diamond Shamrock Corporation. Russell is no stranger to TTI. Most recently, he served as a consultant for 18 months on the TTI Management Advisory Committee.
He will have responsibility for all human resource related activities in North America, Asia and Europe. Additional duties include overseeing the hiring of senior level positions globally. Russell said, “My goal is to work with the corporate senior management team to meet and exceed the established objectives of the company, and to craft a succession plan that will keep TTI viable now and in the future.”
Russell will report directly to Paul Andrews, President and CEO. Andrews remarked on Russell’s recent appointment. “Ron is a perfect match for TTI both professionally and personally. He is familiar with the culture of TTI through his work with the Management Advisory Committee and brings a vast amount of corporate expertise to this position. We welcome Ron to the TTI family.”
